Payment
Health insurance covers genetic consultancy that is recommended by the attending physician.
When indication criteria for testing of predisposition genes are fulfilled according to the assessment of the clinical geneticist, then this genetic examination is fully reimbursed by the health insurance company in the Czech Republic as well.
When the indication is not fulfilled, it is possible to provide the genetic examination in return for payment.
Our facility provides the following examinations:
- examination of the entire coding sequence of genes BRCA1 and BRCA2 for hereditary syndrome of breast and ovarian cancer for CZK 12 000
- examinations of the group ONKO1 (13 genes including BRCA1 and BRCA2) - congenital predispositions to breast and ovarian cancer for CZK 20 000
- examinations of the group ONKO2 (genes MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, EPCAM, MUTYH) - congenital predispositions to cancer of colon and rectum for CZK 20 000
